How it works

Getting around SpeedwayOS

One sign-in, one roster, one place the work lives. This page covers the front door — each module carries its own how-to, linked at the bottom.

Signing ineveryone

  1. Enter your company email on the launcher. You get a sign-in link by email — no password to remember.
  2. Open the link and you're in. The session carries across every module, so you sign in once, not once per app.
  3. The link is good for its whole window rather than dying on first open, so a mail scanner touching it doesn't burn it.
  4. The link signs in whoever opens it, for fifteen minutes, in whatever browser opens it. Treat it like a key — don't forward it. If the button lands in the wrong browser, type the six-digit code from the same email into the SpeedwayOS tab you started from.

Good to know: Sign out ends the session in the browser you're using. Lost a phone, or signed in on a shared computer? Sign out everywhere on the launcher ends every session on every device at once.

The launchereveryone

  1. Every module you can open, grouped by what it's for — the work, how we work, and recognition.
  2. You see the modules you have standing in. A short front door isn't a broken one.
  3. Each card names the host it opens, so you can tell where you're going.

Good to know: a module missing that you think you should have is a access grant, not a bug — ask an admin.

Searcheveryone

  1. One box searches teammates, positions, and playbooks at once.
  2. Each result routes to the module that owns it, so you don't have to know which app holds what.
  3. Playbook search matches meaning, not just words — "angry fan" finds "Win Back Fans".

Honor Rolleveryone

  1. Every award winner since 2012 — Bruton Smith, Humpy Wheeler, Speedway of the Year, Acceleration.
  2. An honoree's awards also show on their own profile in Teammates.

Reporting a bugeveryone

  1. Report a bug sits in the top bar of every module and on the launcher.
  2. The report arrives knowing who sent it and exactly what page they were on — you don't have to describe where you were.
  3. Say what you expected and what happened instead. That's enough.

Your dataeveryone

  1. What SpeedwayOS collects states what's held, why, who sees it, and how long it's kept. It's readable without signing in.
  2. You can read your own personnel record — assessments, ratings, and check-in notes about you — in Teammates.
  3. Reading someone's personnel data leaves a record. That applies to admins too.

Production and sandboxeveryone

  1. Sandbox paints a sand-coloured ground and wears a SANDBOX badge. If you see sand, nothing you do is real.
  2. Sandbox runs on separate data, so nothing tested there touches production.
  3. Any page will tell you which build is answering, which is how "did the deploy land" gets an answer.

Each module's own how-toeveryone

Good to know: a module's Help lives in its top bar, so you're never more than one click from it once you're inside.
